By applying to take part in the dumball you agree to:
1)To pay your team fee in full by December 4th 2011 in exchange for the dumball event.
The person nominated as the Team Leader will be responsible for their team and will be the point of contact for the dumball - for this reason the team leader must ensure that their contact details are completed in full and are correct. This is not an organised holiday, and the organisers of the event do not hold any responsibility to get you to your destination, nor to provide a service to you apart from providing accommodation, advice and a sense of achievement.
2)To raise at least £2000 PER TEAM for THE TEENAGE CANCER TRUST
WHAT WE PROVIDE
The team fee pays for overnight ferries, overnight accommodation in hotels, and entry to all dumball parties and pre-arranged events.
Breakfast is included, lunch and dinner are not (except on special occasions!)
You share a room with your teammates, however sleeping arrangements on ferries may mean you bunk up with fellow dumballers of the same sex.
Visa costs, tolls, petrol or any other motoring costs are not included.
Your team fee pays for t-shirts, stickers, drivers manual and shortwave radio hire.
REFUNDS
After payment has been received no refund can be given
SAFETY & YOUR BEHAVIOUR
The dumball is not a race or a road rally. Any racing, dangerous driving, law breaking, drink driving or blatantly stupid behaviour will lead to your expulsion from the event, your accommodation will be cancelled and you will be asked to go home. We reserve the right to exclude you from the trip.
There is no guarantee that you will get to our destination. There is no support network, although the organisers will help you as much as possible.
INSURANCE
You must provide you own car and travel insurance, this is not included on the rally.
The Dumball will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft that arises from coming on the trip.
YOUR CAR
Must be fully legal in the UK, with tax and MOT. You should also possess and carry a full UK driving license.
The organisers cannot help people dispose of cars at our destination, it is up to you to make contacts and dispose of the car safely and within the law.
You also agree that you have read the advice on this website, understand it, and will follow it accordingly.
DATA
Any personal information we collect form you will only be used for the purposes of booking your travel and accommodation. It will not be passed to any other third parties.
By filling in this form you are not guaranteed a place in the event. This will be confirmed via e-mail. Until you have paid in full, your place cannot be guaranteed.
